Material, volume and color complement one another. A wooden surface, a puzzle-inspired silhouette or a line recalling a surfboard can become the starting point for a composition. Each piece is conceived as an object in its own right, with a presence and personality of its own.

materials and art forms.
I consider each artwork as a whole: its silhouette, its surface, its colors and its relationship with the space around it. Visual exploration and the process of making develop together.
I enjoy giving objects new uses, combining materials and moving between techniques. The surfaces I create become part of the artwork itself: a playground for drawing, painting and volume.
Puzzle forms are one facet of my work. I also explore other silhouettes, other surfaces and projects that bring several disciplines together.

Distinctive creations, conceived for the places they will inhabit.
A project sometimes begins with a place, an object or an idea that has yet to take shape. I enjoy following that first intuition, finding its direction and bringing it into being.
I design and make my own surfaces and forms. Paintings, sculptures, transformed objects and bespoke creations each combine visual exploration, a choice of materials and work with volume.
From an intimate piece to a monumental sculpture project, I adapt my approach to its setting: an interior, a garden, a private space or a professional environment. The forms interact with their surroundings while expressing their own identity.

COGNAC BLUES PASSIONS · 2023Art to the rhythm
of music.
In 2023, for the 30th anniversary of the Cognac Blues Passions festival, I customized a series of twelve guitars and bass guitars. The instruments were then auctioned.
Transforming an instrument into an artwork and bringing sight and sound together: this experience connects the creative languages that inspire me and continues my exploration of the blues.
Music also inspires my projects in storytelling, imagery and performance.

Horizons.
My Basque roots and my training in architecture in the United States shape the way I see lines, proportions and volumes.
My inspiration moves between Art Deco, the energy of Pop Art, American graphic culture and the freedom of the music scene. I draw on their rhythms and contrasts to compose a visual language of my own.
Creation connects these influences. A painting, a sculpture, an object, a song: each becomes a facet of my journey, with its own presence, personality and story.

Sonny Brown,
Cotton & Neon.
With Sonny Brown, I bring words, images and music together to tell an extraordinary life story. Born in Mississippi in 1920, my character grows younger as time goes by.
His story travels through landscapes and eras, from the cotton fields of the American South to the origins of hip-hop in the Bronx of the 1970s. Children and adults alike can discover the roots and transformations of American popular music.
